We just had an awesome weekend tour with The Flatliners, and we're seeing more and more people coming to see us and singing along, so we can't thank you all enough for coming to the shows. Digital EP Available
We have a digital EP available with B-sides from We Are All Beasts here at our bandcamp. There are 4 songs: 3 of them are covers (Nirvana, Foo Fighters, The Arteries) and 1 is an alternate version of Geeks, which is on We Are All Beasts. We are not charging for these, however we ask that you please use the link on that page to make a donation to Out Of The Darkness, an American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This is a donation in our friend Seth's name, who was a great friend of ours, so please take the time to check out this good cause, and some cool songs as well.

Pre-orders, Tours, etc..
We have a lot of stuff going on here recently! First of all, we have the PRE-SALES going for The Banana Split (with The Arteries), as well as for our new LP, We Are All Beasts. You can hear 2 new songs off of We Are All Beasts here, and when you pre-order it you immediately get the digital version of the whole record in your email. Also, the first 41 pre-orders got a special "odd ball" vinyl, and the first 100 pre-orders are in the running to win a test press! The winner of the test press will not be announced, you'll just have to wait and see if it comes in the mail!
We are also really happy to say that (besides our other awesome shows coming up, including Brooklyn NY and Gainesville FL at THE FEST 10) we will be leaving next week for an awesome European/UK tour with our buddies Antillectual! All of the dates are listed on our website, as well as on the facebook event page. We're stoked to see all of our Euro/UK friends again, so please come hang out if you can!

Stuff...
Hey guys. Currently we're waiting on a couple different OK's before we can start pre-order for the Banana Split (Square Up Records) and our new full length We Are All Beasts which will be out on Kiss Of Death. In the meantime, we've released a new song to download for FREE off of that full length on our Bandcamp, so check that out.
Other than that, we're finishing up the details on our European Tour with Antillectual, and will be stoked to let you guys know the details of that shortly as well. Lots of good stuff in the works! Check back soon!

Welcome to the new StaticRadioNJ.com!!!
Welcome to the new Static Radio website. We have to thank Tiger Bomb It for hooking us up with this sweet piece of internet magic.
Where to begin? There's a lot going on at the SRNJ camp as of late. To begin with, our long time drummer (from the very beginning of the band) Chris has decided to leave the band to pursue other (presumably less life ruining) things. He's still a great bud, we still hang with him often, and we wish him luck.
Next, we have a split with The Arteries coming out, Spring 2011. This has 1 original and 1 cover from each band, and is coming out on Square Up Records, a label based in America's Hat (more commonly referred to as Canada). Peep the awesome cover art done by my man Jamie.
NEXT, we have a handful of shows coming up in the next few months, from Pouzza Fest (Montreal), to Generic Insight Radio Fest (Brooklyn), to Stay Sweet Fest (Richmond), to The Fest 10 and everywhere in between. We can't wait to get back out and start playing some new songs...
Which brings me to the final point. We are currently recording our second album at The Machine Shop in North Jersey, which we expect to hopefully be out by this summer. The record is coming along very nicely and once we have more details, we'll pass them along.
